Time Square Shooting Leaves Two Women And A Child Injured

Even with all the tough laws setting up against illegal guns and mass firing America has yet again witnessed another mass shooting.

 An unidentified assailant opened fire at the New York Times Square. The people at the time square panicked and ran for their lives. Three people were seriously injured in the shooting. The victims were identified as a 4-year-old girl from Brooklyn, a 23-year-old girl from Rhode Island, and a 43-year- old woman from New Jersey. The injured were rushed to the hospital in Manhattan. NYPD Commissioner, Dermot Shea said their lives were not in danger during the press briefing.

Police say an assailant opened fire with a gun at Seventh Avenue and 44th street around 4.55 pm the local time.

The three bystanders, who seemed not to know each other, stumbled into a fight between one of them fired the gun.

The surveillance footage has been released of the suspect and the witnesses have been bought down for statement. No arrest has been made until the late evening.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said the shooting that no casualties were reported and that the injured were recovering.

New York Police Department was ordered to arrest the accused immediately. He said action would be taken against gun smuggling. “We are trying to determine how many thugs were involved in the shooting,” said Dermot F. Shea, NYPD Commissioner.

 But the primary conclusion seems to be that only one man was involved in the shooting. He said the accused would be caught soon.

Gun violence has increased significantly in America since last May after George Floyd’s assassination.

The crime in New York City has also gone up violently by 30%.
