Volcano Eruption In The Spanish Island Of La Palman Spain's La Palma has forced thousands of people to flee as the surging lava wreaks havoc on the island. The volcano first erupted on Sunday and continues to surge, burning houses and other properties. A fresh fissure emerged due to the magnitude 4.1 earthquake that struck the area. Massive rescue efforts are underway as Spain deploys its military to assist the officials. There are apprehensions of explosions and toxic gas if the lava reaches the sea.
