But now Elon Musk, the head of SpaceX, is ready to provide satellite internet at a lower cost than Jio. To this end, the Elon Musk Center will hold talks with the government. If those talks come to an end, satellite internet prices will be available to internet users in our country at the lowest possible prices.
Elon Musk’s StarLink satellite Internet services will soon be available in India. In this context, while discussing at what price StarLink will be offering internet services Star Link responded. Satellite Internet will be subsidized for Indians.
According to several reports, Starlink is planning to offer its subscription plans in the country at subsidized rates, said Sanjay Bhargava, Head of Starlink India. Starlink said satellite internet in India would be cheaper. He opined that the services provided should be higher than the prices that consumers pay. Star Link revealed that it is currently focusing on the interior of the country.
SpaceX launched bookings for Starlink Internet in India earlier this year. Buyers will have to pay a deposit of Rs 7,500 as part of the booking. Initially, the internet speed will be in the range of 100-150 Mbps.
However, StarLink’s representatives believe that the speed of the Internet can reach Gbps by sending more StarLink satellites into low Earth orbit. The launch is currently underway.
Starlink India boss Sanjay Bhargava said that as part of the free report for 100 schools, StarLink will provide the satellite setup free of cost to 100 schools, of which 20 will be distributed to Delhi schools and the remaining 80 will be distributed in rural areas around Delhi.
