Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been arrested by NCB officials in a drugs case. Police arrested a total of eight people in the case and produced them in court after conducting medical tests on all of them.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had received information that a rave party was being held on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai where the kids of B-Town celebs were all hurdled and raided the cruise. There have been allegations of large-scale drug use at the party.
NCB arrested Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhokra, and Gomit Chopra, along with Aryan, in connection with the drugs case.
NCB has registered cases against the Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Mumun Dhamecha under various sections for consuming any drug or psychotropic substance under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Three girls who had come from Delhi to join a cruise party have also been detained and questioned. It seems that some of them were also the daughters of prominent businessmen. Cruise said notices had been issued to party organizers. FTV officials said the party appeared to be under the supervision of FTV director Kasim Khan.
However, many Bollywood celebrities have expressed their support for Shah Rukh Khan in the drug case. Pooja Bhatt, Sunil Shetty, Salman Khan, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, and many other B-town celebs rushed to Shah Rukh Khan’s side.
Aryan Khan’s phone and other belongings were seized by NCB officials. Based on them, key information in the case is likely to be revealed.
During interrogation, Aryan Khan told the NCB that he had been taking drugs for four years. He said he also took drugs while in the UK, Dubai, and other countries.
Shah Rukh Khan had also spoken to his son in custody for two minutes and inquired about the situation there.
Aryan will be produced to the court today and how things will move forward can only be said after the hearing, but considering that three cases have been lodged against him it is highly unlikely that Jr. Khan will get bail.
