Samsung has launched its Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones in India.
The smartphones include a 90 Hz display, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. These were the global launches just last week.
Although the Galaxy A52 5G has not been launched in the country. Only the 4G variant has been launched.
These phones were launched as the next versions of Samsung Galaxy A51, and Galaxy A71.
Of these, the Galaxy A51 stood as the best-selling Android smartphone in the world in 2020.
Samsung Galaxy A52
Samsung Galaxy A52 is available in two variants. Of these, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 26,499 while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 27,999.
The phone is available in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
A52 specifications feature a 6.5-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Its refresh rate is 90 Hz. The phone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It has up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
A52 comes with four back cameras. 64, 12 megapixels with the ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
The front camera is a 32-megapixel camera perfect for selfies and video calls.
The phone will run on Android 11 based One UI 3.0 OS. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh. Supporting 25W fast charging. Also, with connectivity features like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy A72
A72 is also available in two variants. The usual 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 34,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 37,999. Available in the same colors as A52.
A72 specifications feature a 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Its refresh rate is also 90 Hz. The Galaxy A72 will also run-on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Its camera features are similar to those of the Galaxy A52.
The phone will run on an Android 11 based One UI 3.0 operating system with a battery capacity of 5000 mAh. It will also support 25W fast charging.
