After weeks of rumors, the fear of fans has come true. The star couple of Tollywood Samantha and Naga Chaitanya has officially ended their five-year marriage.
The news was officially announced by Naga Chaitanya via Twitter. Followed by Samantha on her Instagram handle. They expressed their respect and friendship for each other and said they would be friends despite their different routes.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married on October 7, 2017. Both coming from different religions they had a Hindu wedding according to Chaitanya’s tradition and a Christian wedding according to Samantha.
The two became acquainted during the movie ‘Em Maya Chesave’ and they went to staring in some more movies together and started dating privately the rumors were all around about their marriage but they kept it under wraps. but it became official when they had a high-profile engagement in Hyderabad on 29th January 2017.

People have been siding their idols and considering the Akkineni’s family status people are now raging over Samantha. Telling how her glamorous photoshoots and bold scenes in movies have caused the split. Which is totally wrong considering it’s somebody’s personal life. Some are claiming that Naga Chaitanya was jealous of Samantha’s success and hence they split up.
Also, the differences between them started when Chai went to the North as part of the shooting of the movie ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. Nevertheless, the internet is full of hate at the time.
However, Akkineni fans are unable to digest the unrest in their much-loved movie family.
There have been reports of differences between the two started over the past year. The news was further strengthened when Samantha removed the word Akkineni from her social media accounts two months before the divorce.
Samantha is praised for her performance as an actress. Even after marriage, she is one of the most successful south-Indian actresses which is very difficult for women in the film industry considering the Indian film industry. Rangasthalam, Abhimanyudu, Mahanati, U-turn, O Baby. Not to mention how much fame Shravani’s character has brought her in the film Majili starring Sam along with her husband Chaitanya. Fans were blown away as all the love she had for her husband in real life was shown on screen.
Meanwhile, a video of famous astrologer Venu Swamy saying three years after marriage, Samantha- Naga Chaitanya will split is now going viral on social media. In an earlier interview, Venu Swamy had said that Samantha-Naga Chaitanya will have differences after marriage and will have problems in her personal life even though she is good in terms of movies.
It is learned that Venu Swamy made these comments before Sam-Chai’s marriage, which caused a great deal of controversy at the time.
But now Samantha-Naga Chaitanya has parted ways, making the same news come true. Netizens are commenting that what Venu Swamy said is true and that the divorce he announced three years ago has been proved today.
Samantha has apparently declined the 200 crore alimony offered by Nagachitanya’s family.
