During his Glasgow meetings, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates.
Sustainable development and measures to reduce global warming were discussed during the meeting.
They discussed the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s work in India, including the promising opportunities in areas such as green hydrogen, aviation fuels, battery storage, and vaccine research.

Gates also updated Modi on the status of his foundation’s Mission Innovation. They discussed ways to expand Mission Innovation activities in India.
Modi later held talks with Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. A meeting was held between the Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett.
As the 30th anniversary of India-Israel full diplomatic relations approaches, Modi has invited Bennett to visit New Delhi, according to Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla. Bennett accepted the invitation and expressed his eagerness to visit New Delhi in the first half of 2023.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky and Modi expressed gratitude for all the help during the covid-19 pandemic and also appreciated the effort to recognize the vaccination certificates.
