Online bandits are stealing in Silicon City. Millions of rupees are being swindled out of young men and women in the name of jobs. Online scams are increasing day by day especially in the country’s IT hub.
Recently, two women in the city of Bangalore were defrauded of millions of rupees. An internet stranger has swindled Rs 19.67 lakh from a woman who believed she had a job secured a job online. A case has been registered at the Southeast Division Cyber Crime Police Station over the incident. The victim was a 33-year-old woman from Madiwala Marutinagar.
As a housewife, she saw many advertisements on the internet that she could earn money by doing a part-time job from home. While searching on a website, she got acquainted with some fraudsters.

The person has charged the women a hefty amount of commission. She was sent a link on WhatsApp to fill out all the application and submit it and Rs 19.67 lakh was taken from her in the name of registration and other fees. The victim later tried to call the personnel of the site but when the phones turned off she filed a complaint against it besides she was not given any job in the end. Southeast Division Cyber Crime Police have registered a case and are scouring for the culprits.

This is just not it another woman had also got scammed through a mobile dating app and had got cheated frauded for Rs .18.29 lakhs. A case has been registered at the Central Division Cyber Crime Police Station over the incident.
A 37-year-old Austin town resident has opened an account on a dating app. In that app, she was introduced to a man. The two became friends and became engrossed in talking and chatting on the phone. The two had also exchanged photos. The deceiver, who claimed to have settled abroad, agreed to marry her.

One day he had come to her telling, he was in deep financial crisis believing that he was in financial trouble, she deposited Rs 18.29 lakh to his account in several installments. And one fine day the woman woke up to no sign of the man in the dating app. He deleted the account from the dating app and switched off the phone. based on her complaint, the police are hunting for the culprit.
