Large-scale clashes have been happening in Myanmar since February 1 this year. People took to the streets against the military coup.

An estimated 1,120 people have been killed in the shootings until now. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says more than 15,000 civilians have crossed the border into India from Myanmar in the wake of the clashes and violence.
He also presented a report to the UN General Assembly entitled ‘The Human Rights Situation of Rohingya Muslims and Other Minorities in Myanmar’. Several points were mentioned in it.
As many as 3.36 lakh people across the country have been displaced due to the crisis before February 1. He explained that 2.20 lakh people became internally homeless after February 1. He said more than 15,000 people had crossed the border and reached neighboring India and the remaining are lurking around the borders of China.
Myanmar shares an unfenced border with India in the Bay of Bengal and northeastern states which would easily help the Myanmar citizens to get into India.

Despite being united the people are tied and have no power over the military force and knowing that they won’t get back to life as it was before people are trying to start all over again in different countries.
Between all these the economy is falling rapidly and the currency value is dropping by every minute people are trading off the currency in Facebook groups and other online means.
While on one side it is the Taliban who is creating disaster in Afghanistan’s life on the other the military coup in Myanmar but both of these political disasters have taken hundreds of thousands of lives and also left millions homeless.
