Over 4000 rockets were fired on Israeli cities by Hamas and other armed groups implanted in civilian neighborhoods, hundreds being cut and most of the rest intercepted.
Israel media reported that a security cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday approved an arbitrary ceasefire and a halt to airstrikes.
