India Exceeds The USA To Become 2nd Largest Smartphone Market After China in 2022

Users are ready to buy smartphones as soon as it comes into the market. The arrival of Chinese smartphones in the Indian market made them available at a low price as users are flocking to buy more features at a lower price.

China smartphone brands have expanded their market worldwide. Also, in India, China has sparked more interest among the consumers by releasing new smartphones into the market, as the latest features impress users. According to a News Zoo report, India has become the second-largest smartphone market surpassing the US’s smartphone market. China is ranked number one in the world with its smartphone brands, followed by India in second place and the United States in third place.

Expanding the spread of smartphones to India’s rural landscape and bridging the digital gap between urban and rural, Telecom connectivity is rapidly placing India on the global map of the leading market for smartphones.
Devusinh Chauhan, Assistant Minister of State for Communications, said on Twitter that 493 million people in the country are using smartphones. It is two times higher than American smartphone users, four times higher than Brazilian smartphone users, five times higher than Russian smartphone users, and six times higher than Japanese smartphone users.
