Russia is plotting its way through Ukraine borders for the invasion which Russia is denying at every point however recent developments states that Putin is said to invade Russia in the midst of September.
Ukraine seceded from Russia about three decades ago. For the next few years (in 2014) it sought to sever agreements with Europe and strengthen ties with Russia. But, it could not. Moreover, as those efforts backfired, Russia angrily invaded Crimea. Ukraine in the West was furious and anxious by Russia’s opposition to the violence of the time. In this context, it has expressed its desire to apply for membership in the European Union in 2024 and to join NATO. This further angered Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Ukraine’s culturally good relations with Russia are better than joining NATO and the EU. That is why the army is committing acts of provocation through deployment on the border. At this juncture, the United States and its allies need to give some assurances that they will not be bothered about Ukraine. In particular, the non-membership of Ukraine in NATO is making demands such as the withdrawal of NATO forces in Eastern Europe. But, the superpower does not agree with that.
