Germany’s Covid-19 Cases Breaks Record: Government Fear Isolation

German authorities are concerned that the coronavirus outbreak rate has been 201.1 per million people in the country for the past seven days.

According to statistics published by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in Germany last year, the number of coronavirus cases reached 197.6 as of December 22, 2020. To date, 70 percent of people in Germany have not yet been vaccinated against the covid-19 virus.

They are all being warned to take the vaccines if not they are in grave danger.

The coronavirus occurrence rate in the eastern state of saxony was more than double the national average of 491.3. However, sanctions have been imposed on those who have not been vaccinated

The cases are said to have escalated in the wake of last month’s general election. Coalition parties aim to form a new government in the coming days.

German officials have made it clear that steps must be taken to impose lockdown sanctions on those who have not at least been vaccinated before.

Even though the covid-19 vaccine is widely available in the country only 67% of the people in Germany are vaccinated.

 Not only the medical faculty are afraid of the covid-19 virus, but also the education sector. Since the schools and colleges were opened recently and now the cases are spiking in the thousands which is an only said to rise in the coming days. Teachers fear that the education sector will go back to remote since the remote teaching is not effective as actual interactive sessions.

Masks have been reinforced for both students and teachers and teachers are to be mandatorily tested if the cases increase in the coming weeks like the current date.

Since the number of cases is increasing and people are not making an effort to get the jab the government is planning to make people pay for the covid-19 test in the hopes of people taking the vaccine.
