Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is ready to produce over 500 crores covid-19 vaccine doses by the end of next year. which is great news for the whole world. Currently Modi is attending the G20 summit.
He said India would definitely extend its support to the world in the fight against the Corona epidemic.
Over 100 crore vaccine doses have already been distributed in the country. He was speaking at the G-20 Summit in Rome on Saturday on the topic of ‘Global Economy, Global Health’. The role of India in the battle against coronavirus is prominently mentioned. He said there was a need to further simplify the rules in the case of international travel.
Suggested that there should be a mechanism between the nations of the world in the matter of mutual recognition of corona vaccination certificates. Modi recalled that the World Health Organization (WHO) was in the process of approving the emergency use of covaxin, a domestically developed covid-19 vaccine in India. He said other countries would get the necessary help with vaccinations if approved soon.

Emergency medicines and medical equipment were sent from India to 150 countries during the height of the coronavirus outbreak and other countries also came forward to help India during the second wave which hit India in an awful way than people could have ever imagined.
Modi expressed satisfaction over the G20 summit decision to set a minimum corporate tax rate of 15 percent for bold economic reforms. He embarked on bold economic reforms in India. He called on all nations to work together to revive economies damaged by the corona effect. He said the health sector should be prepared to fight coronavirus and the future battles waiting ahead for them.
Towards this end, the concept of ‘One Earth, One Health’ was asked to be adopted. Indian Foreign Secretary Harshavardhan Shringla briefed the media on the activities of Prime Minister Modi in Rome.
The G-20 summit kicked off on Saturday at the Nuvola Convention Center in the Italian capital, Rome with the world’s most powerful nations participating in it. The host country was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Italy Mario Draghi. Welcoming the leaders of the G-20 countries.

He called on G-20 member states to provide more covid-19 vaccines to poor countries. He said the gap between rich countries and poor countries in terms of corona vaccine distribution was not morally acceptable.
Recall that so far only 3% of people in poor countries around the world have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus and in richer countries, 70 percent said they took at least one dosage.
He said low-income countries needed to be given more margin. The first day of the G20 summit discussed mainly the global health and economic sectors. The conference will also continue on Sunday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Conference of the Parties (COP) conference in Glasgow, Scotland from Monday.
