Coronavirus cases have been on the rise around the world lately. Cases are on the rise, especially in European countries. The World Health Organization has issued key warnings in this regard.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that another five million people could die from coronavirus in Europe by February 2022.
Currently, Corona is spread across 53 countries within the European region, WHO Europe Director Hans Kluge told the media on Thursday. He warned that if the current trend continues, another five million people in Europe are at risk of losing their lives.
Corona cases continue to surge in Russia, Britain, and other countries. Many European countries are being shaken by a large number of reported cases. Europe faced a similar situation in 2020 during the first wave. There was a shortage of medical professionals, hospital beds, and even burial grounds to bury people. The brutal images of people being treated on roads and dead bodies being laid out on the ground still haunt people’s minds showing how brutal 2020 was for the whole world.
The WHO includes the European Union region 27 EU countries and some of the central Asian countries including Kazakhstan.
