SpaceX founder and billionaire Elon Musk has responded to comments by the United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP) that there would be no hunger problem on Earth if the world’s richest people donated a very small amount of their wealth.
It was directed to Elon Musk stating that if he would donate just a part of his wealth i.e., 6 billion USD it would eradicate world hunger. So, Elon Musk has now responded to this question stating that he would sell all his Tesla shares right away to fund UNWFP if they provide him a plan on how they would eradicate the hunger problem.
Speaking to CNN, the director of the UNWFP a few days ago, said, “Donating just 2 percent of the wealth of Musk or other world giants can solve the world’s hunger problem.” the news article came out on CNN, was tweeted by Dr. Eli David.

Dr. David pointed out how despite raising $ 8 billion the WFP failed to eradicate hunger and questioned how they would do it with Musk’s 6 billion.
Responding to Eli David’s tweet, Musk said, “If the UNWFP tells me how it can quench the world’s hunger with a fortune of $ 6 billion, I will just sell the Tesla stock and donate that amount.” Musk also suggested that the money should be made public and people have to know how every penny is being used.
After Elon Musk and Eli David’s questionnaire remarks, Beasley said, “We are not saying that the wealth of these billionaires will quench world hunger. This one-time payment could save 42 million people for a short period, prevent them from mass immigration, and will not put them under starvation.”
