Former President Donald Trump’s social media ban continues amid Capitol Hill violence following his defeat in the US presidential election.
Social media giants Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube banned Trump’s social media accounts permanently. Recently Trump and his team went to the federal court to revoke his account and accused the social media platforms of letting the Taliban run accounts but why not him.
Now fed up waiting for his accounts to be revoked Trump has announced that he will be bringing a social media networking platform under his name.
Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) is launching this social media platform.

On this occasion, Trump said, “I look forward to sharing with you my first fact as soon as my Truth is my social platform. TMTG is bringing this mission with the intention of giving everyone a chance to speak. Truth Social prevents the tyranny of big companies. Right now, we live in a world where the Taliban have a huge presence on Twitter. Here is your favorite American president in silence. This is not acceptable,” he said.
Trump also chided Joe Biden for his responsibility for the downfall of Afghanistan and he said the Truth app would let the people speak the truth, unlike other platforms which claim to let people speak the truth but delete the post soon after stating that they have violated the rules.
The Truth Social Platform will be available for trial via the “Invited Guests” in November as the beta version of Apple via the app.
The company said it will be fully available in the first quarter of 2022. Trump Media and Technology Group will merge with Blank Czech Company Digital Acquisition Corp to transform TMTG into a publicly listed company.
Donald Trump is trying to create competition against Twitter and Facebook because the platforms threw him out but according to reports, the truth app is mostly going to be not an app but a web page where people can post their opinion.
Despite stepping down as the President of the United States Trump still has a stronghold on the republican party and is looking forward to contesting in the 2021 election.
