In a new documentary titled “Dancing With the Devil” singer Demi Lovato never shied away from the intimate aspects of her personal life.
The trailer of Demi Lovato’s, Dancing with the Devil, was released on Wednesday by YouTube originals about her near-fatal drug overdose in 2018 and its effects on Lovato’s life.
The trailer offers an initial glance at the condition of the 28 years-old pop singer after being hospitalized. She also reveals that she has suffered three strokes and a heart attack in the hospital.
Aside from her Overdose “Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil” points out her rise to stardom and her struggle with sobriety and mental health.
A new trailer shows that the documentary will also touch on her recent two-month engagement with Max Ehrich.
Demi Lovato disclosed for the first time that doctors thought that she had only 5-10 minutes to live when she overdosed which is all part of one of the most anticipated documentaries of the year.
As reported Demi Lovato was hospitalized for approximately two weeks after her overdose but stayed in the recovery process for months until she made her comeback with her live performance at the Grammys in January 2020.
Where she played the song, “Anyone” which she wrote just 4 days before the Overdose – and she said later, it was pretty clear that the lyrics were a plea for help.
Along with Michael D. Ratner, the documentary producer, demi Lovato discussed the impact the overdose had on her body physically and its emotional impact on her life at the panel on the Television Critics Association on Wednesday.
While these health concerns persist, the former Disney Channel star also remembered it might have had worse side effects.
Demi said “I am grateful for these reminders,” “of what could happen if I ever get into a dark place again.”
she said, “but I am so glad that I’m someone who didn’t have to do much rehab. Still, Demi said, she “wouldn’t change a thing.” that happened

The singer also said she doesn’t drive a car, because of having blind spots in her vision she added “I also, for a long time, had a really hard time reading. It was a big deal when I was able to read out of a book, which was like two months later because my vision was so blurry.”
Lovato’s friends and family — including her mother, stepfather, and her sister talk about the horrible moments leading to her overdose, as well as what happened later in the documentary’s vivid teaser.
Likewise, legendary singer, Elton John is also being interviewed.
The trailer reveals Lovato during the last year, right before the call-off to Max Ehrich’s engagement. She also spoke about her past sobriety during the interview.
Within hours of the trailer release, a bunch of fans, friends, and celebrities had taken to their social media platforms to applaud her for sharing such intimate details about her struggles and her ultimate survival story.
