France along with many other countries are standing as true friends to India, assisting aid while the country is battling the deadly virus.
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he will extend his full support to India, which is reeling from the Covid-19 boom.
Mr. Macron went to post on Facebook in Hindi, referring to India, saying, “Let us win together.” France said on Tuesday that it would soon send oxygen generators, liquid oxygen containers, ventilators, other medical equipment, and medicines to India by sea and air later this week as part of the fight against covid-19.
“There is a shortage of facilities for Covid-19 treatment in India. We will help you to overcome this medical emergency completely. The two countries have always been an ally in the past during difficult times, we are ready to help India,” said France.
Each oxygen generator sent by France is capable of providing a continuous supply of oxygen to a 250-bed hospital for ten years. In addition, five liquid oxygen containers will be sent.
They are capable of delivering oxygen to up to 10,000 patients per day. 200 electric syringe pumps and 28 ventilators will reach India.
