These countries have ZERO covid-19 cases

  Coronavirus had an adverse effect globally. It has created destruction in many countries and is still traumatizing the world.

Covid is still transmitting in many countries in the form of new variants. Over the past two years, we have seen five variants-Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron. And even experts don’t know what will be the upcoming variant. World Health Organisation (WHO) had recently released a list of some countries where the number of covid positive cases are zero.

Some countries in The Pacific & Atlantic continents have zero covid cases because mostly the countries are islands.

Tuvalu

It is a country with three reef islands and six coral sea islands and a member of Common Wealth. From the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, it had restricted its country border. WHO confirmed that about 50 people out of 100 got vaccinated in this country.

Tokelau

It is a small coral island in the South Pacific ocean and a non-self-governing territory of New Zealand. According to a WHO report, a single case is not active in this country. It has a population of just 1500. 

Saint Helena

Saint Helena is an island located in the South Atlantic ocean. The number of positive cases found in the country is zero as reported by WHO 50 percent of the population has been vaccinated.

Pitcairn Islands

These are the group of four volcanic islands in the pacific ocean. In these islands, 74 percent of the population had taken vaccination and the covid-19 cases are zero.

Niue

It is an island in the South Pacific ocean which registered zero positive cases. 79 people out of 100 were vaccinated.

Nauru

This is a tiny island near the northeast of Australia, so far, not even a single case has enrolled in the country, and 68 percent of the population were vaccinated.

Micronesia

Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap are the four states in this country where the number of positive cases is zero & 38 people out of every hundred people are vaccinated.

 Apart from the above countries, Turkmenistan and North Korea are on the list of countries with zero covid cases by WHO.
