The coronavirus pandemic is suffocating the nations of the world. The number of people who have died with coronavirus worldwide so far has crossed 28 lakhs that is 2.86 million.
Despite the rapid pace of the Covid-19 vaccination process, the number of people getting infected and the number of deaths continue to rise.
As of 5th April, 146,867,714 have been fully vaccinated around the world that is just 1.9% of the whole population, when it comes to people who got vaccinated at least once the number stands at 370,977,131 which is 4.8% of the whole population.
It took a year for the death toll to reach 20 lakhs worldwide, but in the last three months, the death toll has increased rapidly to 8.79 lakh now the total deceased has crossed 28 lakh 79 thousand.
Johns Hopkins University estimates that more than 13 billion people worldwide are infected with the coronavirus.
The United States tops the list with more than three million cases, followed by Brazil and India.

Mexico ranks third in deaths with more than 2 million deaths after the United States and Brazil.
- Coronavirus cases in the United States have risen to 30.9 million with 76,000+ cases adding every day. The country ranks first with over 556k i.e., 5.5 lakh deaths. And the recovery rate in the US is very low. About 40 percent of Americans are vaccinated so far.
- One in every four deaths is recorded in brazil when estimated the death rate around the world every day.
- The highest death toll is 11 million in the European Union.
- About 60 percent of all deaths in Europe come from the UK, Russia, France, and Germany. Britain tops the list of European countries with 27 lakh deaths. Although Britain seems a bit laid back as half of the population has been vaccinated and heavy rules have been laid with strict lockdowns.
- France, Poland, Hungary, Italy, and are rapidly implementing strict restrictions and lockdowns to stop the heavy massacre.
- The Ministry of Hajj has made it clear that only those who have taken two doses of the vaccine will be allowed to Mecca during Ramadan.
