Chinese Rocket Falling Back on Earth This Weekend

It is well known that China launched a Long March 5Brocket on April 29 for its own space station in outer space.

Currently, a large fragment of this Chinese rocket has lost control and is heading towards Earth. Scientists have not been able to predict where this fragment is going to crash.

Fragments of rockets from space often crash into the ground. As they enter the atmosphere, some fragments ignite completely in the air. Some of the larger rocket fragments fall to the ground and cause some damage. The same situation was caused by china in 2016, 2019, and 2020 crashing some houses in west Africa and burning the atmosphere of the Pacific Ocean.

The wreckage of the Tianhe Model rocket launched by China weighs about 20,000 kg and is 30 meters long.

“Most debris would burn up during re-entry, leaving only a very small fraction which may fall to the ground that may theoretically land in zones away from human activities and in the ocean,” stated Wang Yanan, Editor-in-chief, Aerospace Knowledge magazine

Scientists say that if the rocket hits the ground, it will cause a lot of damage to property and life. Scientists estimate that the rocket fragments will fall between 7.30 pm on May 8 and 1.00 am on May 10, according to Indian Standard Time.

Scientists estimate that the rocket will pass through North America, southern Europe, and China, 41.5 degrees north latitude and 41.5 degrees south latitude in South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

All the countries have been warned to take protective measures. Amid the concerns, the United States space command is constantly tracking the fragments.

Also, now there is an estimation that the rocket will crash in international waters.
