East America freezes beyond a blizzard. Hundreds of years of records are being broken by the intensity of cold winds and heavy snowfall. Public life has come to a standstill in the United States of America. The people of ten states in the northern and the eastern part of America are in serious trouble and are confined to their homes.
Snow accumulation has increased over days making it impossible for people to even open windows and doors. With rough winds and freezing cold people are stuck in their homes. Most of the coastal areas were inundated.

In addition, power cuts have begun in many parts of North America. Calls are being made to emergency services since there was a power cut in texas last year during a storm and a lot of people froze to death under the circumstances. This problem is most prevalent in the Massachusetts area. About one million people are waiting for government help.
- A hundred-year-old record was broken in New York’s Central Park. The previous largest snowfall in the park was on January 29, 1904, at 4.7 inches. So far this has been the highest. Snow has already accumulated to a thickness of 7.3 inches beyond the current blizzard.
- New Jersey recorded the highest snowfall in 1987 at 20.3 inches. Then in 2014, there were 7.4 inches of snow. This time the snow was 33.2 inches thick.
- Philadelphia recorded 5 inches of snow in 1904, the latest record with 5.8 inches of snow.
Air services were disrupted. Farms, villages, ponds, and mounds turned white beyond the intensity of the snow. More than 5,000 flights have already been canceled, according to US-based FlightAware.com.
