A 9 year old gets raped and murdered by a priest and three other men of a crematorium near to Delhi cantonment in South-west Delhi. The girl was raped and murdered also cremated without the knowledge of her parents by the accused. Police arrested the accused on Sunday night. According to the police, the girl’s family was threatened by the accused, and they did not approach the police.
The girl used to live in a rented house along with her parents in front of the crematorium where these four accused used to work. According to her mother girl went to the crematorium to bring the cold water, and after that, she never came back.
The four men are identified as local priest Radhe Shyam who is 55 years old, and the other three men are Salim, Laxmi Narayan, and Kuldeep. Murder and rape case against them. Delhi police have arrested four accused in connection with the case following a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother. Cases have been registered against them under sections 302, 376, and 506 of the IPC, as well as the Pocso Act and the SC-ST Act.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced 10 lakh compensation for the girl’s family and ordered for magisterial inquiry on the issue. He also urged the central government to strengthen our laws against sexual violence against children and women.
